I agree, Will Wade can bring a splash to a small wannabe program, like McNeese. 1 player can make a huge difference, and he grabbed 2 or 3 thru portal and NIL (which was still freshly being maneuvered by all)
Like I said, hes built for that kind of school
Like it or not, no one wanted to stay, and no one followed him via current players at NC St or recruits. Make excuses as I know you will. But deep down you know why.
I hope we win em all but in no way would that change my opinion of what hes done and the facts that can't be changed.
Now hes getting basically 25 yr old pros to come over from Europe?
I ask you seriously, does that really motivate you to spend your money and be proud?

but you are making this up, you don't know what these guys wanted or why they went wherever. if you have a chance to move up from mcneese you do it. it doesn't reflect poorly on wade if a player earns a step up, to a better school or to the pros.
also you are not privy to salaries so you really are not qualified to describe anyone's motivations. some might want to go to school X but school Y is paying more, etc. you have no idea.

you are being less than honest here by implying that wade has only proven to be able to upgrade a small school. but wade won the SEC in his second season at LSU. when you win a conference with teams like Florida and Kentucky and arkansas in it, you are not a small wannabe program. you are competing with the elites, national champion level programs stacked with NBA talent.

No sir..please review what was being responded to. It was expressly about McNeese 1 yr improvement. Thats when an SEC coach can go into a small town like that and make an immediate large splash.

Agreed. Glad to have a level head. I'm stupid in plenty of emotional topics. Doesn't mean the message is wrong
But I'm OK with some losing their shite over a comment. I see past the emotional and focus on who's being attacked. I speak the truth, and get attacked. That means they can't dispute the topic.

But not a single person can dispute WW has acted with good character, discipline, honesty...anything. Yes, hes a damn decent coach. Hes SHOWN hes a low character person. I do not like or agree with him in his actions off the court

I don't think he has shown that. he did pay players, which is fine, everyone does and did.
he also moved from one job to another which also is fine and people do it all the time.
I see zero evidence he is low character. on the contrary, as a big fan I have watched almost every minute of every interview he has ever done since 2017. he, for example, refuses to leave town if any of his players are in town. like over the holidays if one player stays in baton rouge, he stays. he always wants to be available to support his players. its his first priority. and his players like him.
