The points off turnovers killed us...we gave the ball up way too much today

So we play Tulsa or West Kentucky next? What are both teams looking like?

trent can't put together a whole games worth of coaching. it seems like we constantly get abused in the 2nd half

Ricardo Gaethers has to think hard no matter how much pressure he has on him to come to LSU. It's not a good situation our program is in at the moment and it doesn't look good at all for the very near future. AND YES, it can be seen only 3 games into the season!!!

I am very discouraged right now. We have the talent to be good, but we are lacking coaching.

Looking at that other side of the bracket, we didn't stand a chance in hell of winning the whole thing.

Tough loss. You can't turn it over that much, not play defense, and then just pass it back and forth for the first 20 seconds of every possession and expect to win it.

Guys played hard. Made some mistakes, but they'll learn.

TJ got outcoached. BAD.

I'm thinking more of a 10 seed.

No way. They are a bubble team, at best.

I don't claim to follow college basketball as closely as some until tournament time, but I'm just tired of fricking losing.

Good effort, but it's been the same excuses at the beginning of every year lately. Why is it that Calipari can go anywhere and have his freshman be All-Americans from the start, but we have to wait?

It's just frustrating that a school like LSU has lost as much as we have in recent years. We should be a tourney team at minimum almost every year.

Yup.

Another team not named LSU will be able to better guard Shurna.

Northwestern will be NIT bound, again.

Fire his arse now so we don't get left holding the bag with all decent coaches hired. He is the most overpaid coach in LSU history, hands down.

I'm the opposite. I'm much more encouraged by this loss.
We had a shite ton of turnovers, but that's to be expected with a young backcourt.
We had no answer for defending Shurna. Say what you want, that ugly white boy can ball.
JOB really played his arse off, as did all the team.
We had our chances, it was just an uphill battle.
The refs blew until late in the game they actually let the play a little.
Mark my words, this team will be pretty decent come SEC time. These are the games that make you better.
