Would love to see Turner off the bench today. The way he's been playing we wouldn't lose much.

Agree whole-heartedly... If I were TJ today this would be my starting 5.

Wasn't the reasoning for signing Eddie to get Derenbecker to LSU?

No, that is an urban legend.

FWIW, i'm a kentucky fan and i've been saying i wish we had hickey all season long. Teague has not shown near as much as hickey has. Not saying he doesnt have his moments of brilliance and could play well today, but overall Hickey has been the better PG

I cant believe there are two of us that are LSU FB fans but UK BB fans. I grew up in KY and have lived here 30 yrs now but my blue blood still flows in BB season.

This may be the best opportunity for LSU to beat UK in a while. It is also a turning point for LSU if they can pull off a marquis win today. Keys to the game:
1. Shooting from the field. If UK comes out cold it could be a window of opportunity. LSU can not afford to have any big cold streaks in this game.
2. Offensive Rebounding. LSU can not let UK have more than one chance at the offensive end.
3. Foul trouble. UK is very talented but not very deep.
4. Best player on team to guard? My book is Kidd-Gilchrist and Miller. Jones has been playing under his potential. Davis has not been pushing the inside game much lately. Teague is not a big O threat. Miller can bury from center court or slam it in the paint and he is very patient.
5. Three point shooting. Beware Davis has blocked almost 40 three pointers this year. He has a 7'6" wing span.

Go Big Bleaux from the Bayou!

P.S. Hopefully my tickets are next to Ashley Judd today.

Good to know, I had just heard it from several places and never seen anything to the contrary.

If we can't beat the #1 team in the nation, with a team primarily composed of freshman and sophomores, we should probably fire the coach.

It just absolutely amazes me the negativity this guy attracts. Everyone always is down on him generally. Anytime he does something wrong it is pointed out but he doesn't get the credit for when he does something right.

A great player - no. As clueless and outmatched as many portray him. Again no. His shot selection is one of the best on the team, he just isn't a great shooter and he knows it. Of course his percentage is just a little below Stringer's and he is supposed to be a great scorer.

He has really improved his dribbling and ball handling and has learned how to take care of the ball. He is a tall small forward and gets his share of rebounds considering playing time.

Hustles all the time and plays okay to good defense. What's not to like?
