but damn Johnson has got to take some of the blame here

Why? Because he is more interested in building a solid program than an average team? He could have gone out this year and signed a few good players, but what good would that have done for the long term future of the program? I think by holding off and getting better quality guys to sign this year we are on our way back.

There is no excuse for this program to have sunk this low.

no excuse? haha

the excuse is lack of fricking talent from the previous coach

you cant expect a coach like trent, who has been out west forever, to come in a short year due to a new hiring and get a good class

now this past class, nothing special at all, but the next 2-3 years we will be getting quality players, its only a matter of time

look at this team, this team would run the sun belt and thats about it

Because he basically has no talent this year does not mean he gets a free pass on the team's inability to play with fundamentals and have any will to win.

I love some of the morons hear jumping and attacking this team. Do you not see the talent that exists on this team or lack of it?

Imagine if Taz had left to go pro, what the talent on this team would be?

Spencer is just not that good. Warren is the only legit SEC starter on the court, but has to do too much on defense at times that it gets him into foul trouble, and they have NO depth.

They also just played less that 2 days ago against another ranked opponent, have no depth and are just gassed.

LSU also had a win 2 weeks aago stolen from them by the referees against Auburn.

Dude, did you not watch that Auburn game? You also entirely missed my point. This team can win and nearly beat Auburn on the road. It took some really shady calls by the officials at the end of that game to give it Auburn.

This team just has minimal depth and overall talent. They are getting tired, especially Mitchell. These aren't NBA players where their entire life is basketball. They are playing 2 games a week, practicing, and going to class. After 20+ games they are going to get tired.

I know this score sucks, but I am very pleased with this second half effort - and Kentucky isn't even pulling its starters. This second half is good experience.

It always amazes me how Spencer doesn't get discouraged when his shots aren't falling. 1-9 from beyond the arc today.
Stop chunking shite up Bo!
