I think he would’ve been the most important cog in the machine given his skill set and how guards like him can operate in Wade’s system.

Darius Days is the most important player to this team. Make no mistake.

His shooting is gonna be vital. When the good shooting/rebounding Days shows up we’re really good.

AGREED. his shooting percentage, free throw percentage, rebounding. He's a double digit machine when he's out of foul trouble. That's why I think having Tari Eason and Efton Reid are so important for this roster. Tari gave it everything he had on Saturday in an exhibition game.

Days is fine when he is the 3rd or 4th option

His scoring repertoire is catch & shoot 3’s & put backs

Quit acting like you know everything there is to know about his game. In basketball, players can and do adjust to the ones playing around them.

I'm not saying Days is or will be a prolific star or even a serious SEC POY candidate; but for the past 3 years he has only needed to be the 3rd or 4th option on the team because he was surrounded by high-end talent and stars. So he was good with playing his role and he played it well.

Now he is a 4th year developed player that knows this is HIS TEAM. He knows this is the time for him to step up and be the 1st or even 2nd option and he knows that he will have to do more to create his offense, which many have talked about as being something he could've done more of in the past, but didn't need to. They've also said that it is one of the biggest things he has worked on all offseason.

So how about you wait to see him in actual games in his new role and an offense that will feature him more, and then assess what he can or cannot do.

He’s played in 100 games, I think we know what he is

I’m all for getting him more shots I just wonder who is going to create for him

I like Days. If you follow my posts at all I thought Cam shot way too damn much last year & didn’t involve guys like Days enough

But the guy kinda is what he is that this point. Catch & shoot, put backs, rebound, foul trouble

Days shoots around 66% from inside the arc, he’s been nearly unstoppable on the block. I know Wade doesn’t like to post but Days could use a couple post touches early on to get him in rhythm. Normally when he goes cold he doesn’t get looks early on and starts to press taking shots he shouldn’t take and rushing shots.
