Basketball attendance (fake anger)

Can you guys always find something to bitch about?
The basketball team is killing it so y’all have to bitch about attendance. How about go to the game and make some noise, rather than being keyboard warriors. And if you respond that you do go to the game, than put your phone down, get up and get excited.
Why does this board always have to be so damn negative all the time.

I think the complaints are because a great crowd can be a foundation to a great program.
I mean, any great athletic program needs great support. These crowds don’t do much to make Wade or the players feel appreciated.
If that is a trend, why would a big time player want to go there?

I was at the game tonight. Attendance was pretty good considering the opponent. I’m surprised more people haven’t jumped on board.
The first half was pretty lit...The second half was lifeless.

The 9416 is the paid attendance number. I got the approximate actual attendance number from Tigerbait.com. actual in PMAC was around 6,600.

LOL. There was a Hell of a lot more folks in the PMAC than 6600. 6600 would be just less than half full.

I was at the game. Been to all home games this season. Upper level was not that full, lots of empty seats. It was a nice crowd in the lower and middle levels. I think it was less than 7,000 in attendance.

Everyone relax: the crowd will be there.
We started hot last year also.
We got 3 out next 4 on the road.
Go 3-1 and it will be deaf dome time again!!
This team is really good. Can score in so many ways.

The announced attendance is the number of tickets sold.. paid attendance.
LSU doesn’t release actual attendance numbers (people through the doors, butts in seats).

When I think of crowd problems, I don't really direct my ire toward the fans. I don't get to go to games, for good reasons. And I know many other people have good reasons for not being able to make it to a game.
But I know there are plenty out there who do have the time, and it's up the the athletic department to pull their heads out of their butts and figure out how to get those people to come. All they seem to do is raise prices every year, and anger people with bad parking arrangements and poor concessions. They don't flinch when people complain about these things.
Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"? Basketball has a lot to prove, but the football attendance has even been spotty, for years.
To act like people who want to see the program succeed, in all aspects, are just looking for something to complain about, is to really not get the point at all.
