Other than the bad pass, Martin had a decent 2nd half just couldn't buy a basket at the end.

If we can be 10-2 going into conference that would be HUGE.

It was 15-16 all game. If it wound up just being 7 that's misleading.

We would have to play extremely terrible to even have a chance of losing to McNeese or Rhode Island

LSU shot 48% and UAB shot 30%. Thats a big reason for the rebounding disparity. I think LSU held their own against a great rebounding team.

To add to this we were 47th in the country entering this week in FG% Defense (pretty good considering there's like 350 Division I teams)...this week we have held UAB to 30.4% and TTU to 36.4%. Good chance we'll be in the Top 40 or so on Monday when they redo the stats on the NCAA website.

Yea, LSU won't be pushed around by many teams this year. We're probably the best in SEC on the boards and top 10 in the country.

Combine that with quick ball-hawking guards, good 3-point shooters, Mickey and JOB defending the paint.

I'm tellin yall, these boys can win, and I mean win it all!

some posters need to eat crow about martin and tq being below average. TQ has played good the last few games and he was great tonight. Martins first half was better than his second but he is coming around. This team is a legit 9 players deep and then darcy and shane can at least do something right every now and then. The team appears to be gelling together, the passing was legit the first half and we had good movement on fast breaks
