Damn! He was the only dude that played with fire when team was in a funk. We need guys like him that will keep grinding and playing ferocious. He needs to get his shite straight this is his year to prove himself and missing spring ball is not helping him damn

Baskerville played really well down the stretch. He turned the corner starting with the A&M game.
He did. He was all over the field in that last part of the season. He had 12 tackles against aTm and 11 against Ole Miss. Hopefully, he can do what he needs to do and make it back. They need more experience at LB.

Having only 6 scholarship LB’s is not ideal

My understanding is: yes, if he picks them up.

He is still on the team basically. I read that he is expected to be back for the season as long as he gets his school stuff in order. He is skipping spring practice to focus on academics due to an issue there.

If he’s not already in the portal he will be back for the summer or August. He won’t start or not right away at least but if he’s on the team he will play a good bit. Not our most athletic LB but he sees the field well and understands how to play his position. Ideally you want Clark to play to his potential and have Mike Jones Jr as the Jabrill Cox LB in the weak side but look out for Bug Strong. He plays 4-3 Mike LB like it’s supposed to be played, downhill and very physical. Clark will have to bring it to hold him Strong off.

It’ll be along the lines of: “Baskerville is just being selfish and lazy by not doing his schoolwork. It’s his fault. How is Orgeron supposed to control that. I blame it on Wade and Mainieri. They have less players to worry about, so they could’ve helped O by making sure Baskerville did his work. But it’s okay, because he’s just missing spring practice. That won’t hurt him or the team.”

He’s still with the team. The NCAA has a minimum GPA requirement to be apart of activities with the team. Even if he wasn’t already below that it may be worth taking a spring to buckle down and get it right before it gets worse.

How can you not make the grades when everything is online?
I always found the online courses tougher due to more of a motivational standpoint

Coach Paul Manieri has lost control of the LSU football team.
