Are all of you people so preoccupied with LSU football that you feel you must start criticizing players on next year's team?
Get a life.
Get a life.

Well this season is over so as a football fan most people would naturally look towards next season. You are on here posting that people should get a life. How are these people any different than you? Maybe you should get a life

They are both very capable players but they will be learning to play a different defense. I'm guessing Damone Clark will be a middle linebacker cause of his size. While Baskerville will be a sam linebacker. While Jacoby Stevens will be moved to the will linebacker spot. All speculation on my part though.
The good thing is Bo Pelini, according to former LSU players is an excellent linebacker coach.
Now, I am a little concerned about the position group cause we are going to be a little thin in the depth department. As no one was anticipating McCallum to transfer and everyone was sort of expecting Patrick Queen to return for one more season, but hell, he improved himself into a first-round player. I didn't see that one coming. I don't think anyone did.

Honestly I prefer keeping Hampton up top at FS. When he, Delpit, and Stevens were in, our pass coverage really took a step up. I look for Hampton/Harris/Monroe? At FS, with Jacoby becoming an All-American at SS
I kind of agree, but I think cause of his size and lack of experienced players that Jacoby Stevens will be moved to the Will Linebacker spot.
While Marcel Brooks will be moved to the Strong Safety spot. As I can really see Marcel Brooks blitzing the QB up the middle a lot and generally wreaking havoc all over the field like Chad Jones used to do. I really think that guy can be that kind of player for LSU.
Now a lot of people want Marcel Brooks to remain as a third-down pass rush specialist only. However, for me, Marcel Brooks is far too talented a player to only be used in such a manner. I would much prefer we put his many talents to work for us at the Strong Safety position and as an every-down player, while Jacoby Stevens manages the Will Linebacker spot.

Baskerville really only leads to “Hound of the Baskervilles” references whereas Starks leads to Game of Thrones references, which has a Hound anyway plus a lot more, so I think really Starks is the answer here.
