Baseball vs. Softball

If anyone told me 4 months ago that baseball would not make a regional and softball would, I’d have called them crazy.

I believe this only the 2nd time in last 5 seasons LSU softball has advanced out of a Regional to the Supers. It’s been a while since this team has achieved at expectations.

Beth has yet to miss a regional at LSU, 14 straight seasons. The regular season and making a regional have not been the knock against her.

Beth has made a super regional this year, just to correct you. Not a regional.
In softball this year 10 of the top 20 teams is in the SEC, including traditional powerhousesOklahoma and Alabama
Now the odds of winning the Tuscaloosa super regional are pretty poor....but still ,considering the Alabama mental block.

How are you correcting me? I know of no way to make a super regional without first making a regional. I was simply pointing out that Beth has made a regional every year she has been the softball coach at LSU.
