So LSU has defeated both Tulane and ULLL by the score of 5-0 this season.

We only got 6 hits Russian. I love beating ULL, but our bats need work.

No doubt. I am from Lafayette and I love beating them. But 6 hits against their pitching does not bode well.

We had them 5-0 before the delay, and then after the delay stranded 3 runners, it wasn't the best performance, but with the delay and stuff, I can certainly understand that we didn't have much after the break.

I was there. We had 6 hits against their midweek pitching.

on the bright side, we threw our 7th shutout of the year & hit a couple bombs.

Pitching was solid. And yes, if 1/3 of our hits are homers it is a good thing.

The new pitching coach is paying dividends. Mainieri should have cleaned house after last season and brought in an experienced hitting coach that knows what the hell he's doing and can "Teach/Coach" up our weak hitters.

Seeing us struggle to hit against the "Little Sisters of Oh La La" and "Not exactly an S.E.C. powerhouse Auburn" does not bode well looking to the future against the SEC Big Boy baseball programs.

No excuses for LSU to slide from elite college baseball powerhouse status because of coaching complacency and stubbornness.
