I really like Bugg. Cartwright looks decent as well, but I think Bugg is opting for that closing role for the season. Hale needs to bat 4th to protect bregman.

Yeah he did. He slammed his catcher skills big time.
No, he didn't, just his arm. If he is our starting catcher come SEC we will fail on 90% of our attempts to throw out runners. Hell, ULL stole third easily on him last night.

He'll be at first base

Not if KRob starts hitting, CPM seems to love his energy. He had a couple of rookie mistakes last night but nobody out there gave the effort he did. Taking second on that ball in the dirt is something the whole team can learn from. Stevenson and Laird are both getting on base, they need to run more

Yeah because you brought attention to it.

Yes he can, he just didn't do anything wrong here.

You seem mad.

This isn't even about coaching which y'all like to get up in arms about if anyone says anything bad. It's about how he talks to the media. He's always been quick to pile on a player.

Mainieri cannot do wrong. Even off the field.

BE. MORE. MAD!!!!!!!!

Choupique19 was quoted as saying, "Tyler didn't have his best day behind the plate last night. The pitchers probably allowed the runners to better jumps than we would have liked, and Tyler was off line with a throw or two. That's something we can all get better at. We will keep evaluating the catcher position like we do every position. Our lineup will probably feature changes at several positions throughout most of the year. Some guys will get hot, others may cool off. I really don't see us judging the catchers position with any more scrutiny than any other spot."

How's that for coach's speak?

I called him an idiot for rotating three catchers earlier. Maybe youre just wrong in this situation.

That one was more on Cartwright for not looking him back. The runner was half way down the line before he started the stretch.

Uh oh. You've done it now. LSURussian is wrong less than Mainieri is.

I know, and i know its been discussed ad nauseum but our scheduling strategy sucks. That team last night was not prepared to face a good baseball team at all.

Hale at 2nd, schuvique at 1st and Chinea catching. Moore on the bench until we need a late pinch hit.

I'd rather Kramer than both of those guys. One sits for Kramer IMO.

No him throwing a player under the bus is saying something like we would have won if we could have thrown out some runners on the base paths.
