Since we have been on the discussion of waiting list lately, how is this process coming along with placing everyone in the New Alex Box and when they will start calling for baseball waiting list tickets.

They've already assigned most of the grandstands & will start calling again on Monday.

I had to call the ticket office to check on my football away game request and I asked about the baseball list while I was on the phone. The guy told me the process was taking longer than they expected, they were still working on the grandstands, then had to move to the bleachers before getting to the waiting list. He expected it to be a couple more months.

The ticket office needs to concentrate on football tickets(30 + days until first game) not freakn' baseball ( 9 months until first game)Its not rocket science....

Well thank you Captain Obvious for the general statement reminding us football season is closer than baseball season.
Could you tell me wtf that has to do with the question?

They have finished the Grandstand and Took this last week off, starting monday 28th of July they will start calling the bleachers ticket holders.
The way this will work is: First, you will get seats similar to the one you have in the old Alex Box, but the phone calls will be based on TAF Priority points order.
BUT if you sit in L3(124) L4(125) L5(126) etc .. and your TAF points are higher than some one in L1 or L2, your NOT going to Move into the GrandStands ahead of Someone in L1(119) or L2(120) etc .. So There will be No Unfair Jumping ahead. A reasonable Jump will be possible if you have TAF Points.
Example - you sit in L5(125) with TAF points You could most likly move to L2(122) or L3(123)
Example #2 - you sit in L3(123) with No TAF Points, You will Very likly stay where you are in L3(123)
The Seating Chart is Labeled differently than Old Alex Box. so I put the new Section in (para)

That is not entirely accurate. You are correct in that the relocation/assignment of "comparable" seats in the new stadium has nothing to do with priority points. Everyone will be assigned a "comparable" seat based solely on the location of the seat in the old stadium. However, the season ticket holders are then called in priority points order (by "zone"--purple, gold, grandstand and now bleacher) and they can choose to upgrade to anything that is available. Using your first example, if you have old L5 tickets but have the highest point ranking of anyone in the old bleachers, you can upgrade to whatever seat is available when you are called, regardless of the location of your old seats. If you have L5 seats but high points, you could move into the grandstand ahead of someone in L1 if grandstand seats are available when you are called. A friend with old R3 seats and high point ranking was called today and he upgraded to Gold Field Box.
Edited to change section to "zone"

what ranking are they on now, about what is your friend with a high ranking. also wasn't there something about 3 year baseball ticketholders getting preference, did that go by the wayside.

My friend has a ranking of around 200, which I imagine made him one of the first few bleacher season ticket holders called. The 3 year requirement dealt with upgrades. Unless you've been a season ticket holder for 3 years, you are not eligible to request an upgade. You will be assigned "comparable" seats in the new stadium and can't request an upgrade
