May have missed that one if it was the one Milam ripped into right field.

1 walk in 2 innings “looked like Little”?

I do believe it was on the pitch that Milam smashed. Or just before it.

I felt like Milam had some quality at bats today. He seems to be adjusting nicely to the speed of the college game.

I don’t think we talk about this guy enough, he could play a huge role for this team. You don’t hit .360 by accident and we’ve seen how valuable 5th year seniors can be.

You had to be there to get a feel. Little wasn't particularly sharp today, but he wasn't bad.
They have shortened up his wind up/delivery a bit.
I think his cutter is his best pitch personally.

Pearson was just a single away from a cycle.

That hit by pitch hurt more than most, I'm sure.

Nice to see him having a few good days at the plate. We are all excited about his veteran presence and hitting abilities, but he hasn’t set the world on fire since arriving in BR. Hopefully he’s worked out his little mini-slump just in time for the start of the season.

This is just continuing. He needs to get his eyes checked or something. Change his approach at the plate.
its not his approach, its his swing... he isnt releasing the barrel, he will struggle till he does it...

Little's performance was encouraging
He did hit 99 MPH on fast ball but Pearson hit one of those for a mammoth 3 run HR off the intimidator.

Not sure where you are getting 99 mph from Little. He topped out at 95 yesterday.

Yeah. Little was throwing 95 mph right out of the gate but that was the upper extent of the velo on his heaters. I was encouraged somewhat that his pitches weren't missing the zone by much compared to a couple of the other arms who had difficulty finding the zone.
