I believe this is why they've pushed Yamin and even inserted Simpson behind the plate. You can't just sit Serna, if he mashes, because you need a healthy backup.

I think I’ve watched that replay at least a dozen times since June. You could see the looks in their dugout as it was happening. They knew they were going to lose.

or those that subscribe to The Athletic, they put out a lot of college baseball stuff to preview the season. One of the articles is always a coaches roundtable. This one features 4 former LSU assistants now HCs at other schools (Bianco, Wes Johnson, Dan Fitzgerald, and Eddie Smith).
One of the questions was about revenue sharing and I think tells us why Meatball left Washington to go be an assistant at A&M. Eddie Samith admitted that Washington gets no revenue sharing for baseball. At all.
Also, Wes Johnson still seems like a prick.

We need a gameday thread. Houston and Wake Forest start in about 5 minutes in Puerto Rico. The games are paywalled this year unfortunately. Last year, they were on ESPN+.

A bit of news for next week’s Jacksonville event…Kendall Rogers said they’ve outsourced streaming to a legitimate streaming service this year. He also said that the LSU games will have Lyn and Ben on the call.
