Just wanted to check in with you guys to make sure. I know how upset you all get when the mighty PM is questioned.

Of course it is too early. PM won a natty and 2 years ago played for one. It will always be too early in there eyes.

One thing you can always count on with LSU baseball in particular: there will always be a fan to tell you how wrong you are about something. No matter how small the opinion.

You have to go back to the Jack Lamabe era, to have seen an LSU baseball team with a frick it attitude. PM has that attitude, and it's been passed down to the team.

And they're incredibly persistent and arrogant about it. I made one innocuous comment about LSU baseball months ago and they remembered my username and they follow me around to all the baseball threads and downvote me. Even if they agree with my comment.

Why does it bother some of you so much that some people support the team win or lose?

We know things aren’t good.
We know some things need to change, we just don’t fly off the handle because things don’t go our way or instantly start shitting on CPM or calling players garbage.

It’s not about the team and you know it

Whats really sad is he made this thread to almost justify him flying off the handle in march, when it probably went completely against him from 2012-2017.

I’ve been a Mainieri supporter since he got here. I accept that there won’t be another Skip. I acknowledge that at times expectations may be unreasonable. I do, however, think that it’s time for him to step down. He’s lost this team it would seem. If he ever had them. This has been the most disinterested bunch I’ve seen in over a decade and nobody wearing an LSU uniform seems to care.

I think it’s fair to acknowledge that and say it’s time for a change. Mainieri doesn’t have in his heart in this and LSU deserves better.

I appreciate what he’s done over the years, but if anyone honestly thinks his best days aren’t behind him, then you’re kidding yourself. It would not be difficult to find a coach who can do better than what we’ve seen the these past two seasons.

Awesome, how about 2019 though? Sounds like you want to ignore that subject

Lol, no. I admit i may have been wrong about 2019. But watching the OP gloat about it after he was probably wrong the several years before is kind of ridiculous

The first thing they do is tell you how dumb you are, and that you aren’t a true fan. It’s the same bs lines of “it’s early” or “that’s baseball” , and that you don’t know baseball.
As soon as LSU wins one game they run right back here to fluff their chests out and strut around telling everyone again how dumb they are, and that you don’t know baseball.
They are all “experts” even if their superior fandom can’t see the obvious flaws with these coaches and this team.
What’s most sad is that they are so caught up in feeling the need to defend that they can’t seem to grasp that we are all LSU fans and want the best for LSU!!!
Sometimes things are more clear to some than others but the one thing that we all have in common (even if the Josh’s, and Russianlsu bullies can’t see it) We all love LSU!!!

It’s an inside job.
The players are sick of PM’s shite.
It’s a mutiny led by the players against PM because they know a badass coach out there will want to come and actually want to win.

How about that twist?

Like I said sometimes people can see it more clearly than you or me. Do you think that you are always right in life? I’m not. None of us are, but it was clear to many the problems that this team had in March and just because you didn’t see it or acknowledge it doesn’t mean it wasn’t there.
