Is this just the "we're throwing money in the inner cities cause they don't watch baseball and we're losing viewership" game? I haven't heard a comment about the game in 20 minutes.

According to Hawthorne it is unusual to see the first baseman trail the batter to second and for the second baseman to leave the bag.

This is my complaint about Hawthorne. He has called all of these great baseball games, has done this job for 30 years, yet still doesn't KNOW baseball.
