Someone teach me the numbering system for baseball. I'm tired of hearing 6-4-3 double play and not knowing WTFFFF!

That's dumb how it goes from 2 base to 3 base skipping the shortstop. Whatever. I hate that shite, not sure why it's difficult for me to pick up.
