Hitting looks decent we'll see if Lange can find his groove and the bullpen becomes lethal.

We haven't played a team worth a shite OOC in a million years. Let's reserve judgement.

Our bats will have to win us games more so than last year because our bullpen will lose us more games than last year.

Bugg and Smith have been the two crap relievers. Stallings is still throwing flat fastballs down the middle when he shouldn't. But hasn't given up a run. Other than that, the bullpen has been pretty good. Not counting McKay who hasn't really gotten a serious look.

And other than these 3 and Lange, the pitching has been fantastic. Cartwright, Poche, Valek, Gilbert, Devall, Newman, Norman and even Reynolds and Bain are looking pretty good.

Cartwright and Newman have had bad outings already this year

When did he have a bad outing? He's been lights out this season.

Newman has looked great the times I have seen him, which are mysteriously few. When was the bad outing?

Not a lot of "great" players but a whole lot of good ones. It's a loaded lineup with everyone being a tough out. I like them a lot.

This team is very young and just as you said, sneaky good. They can pour runs on in a hurry and I like that. The lefty they faced last night has some pretty good stuff, a nice fastball and a good sweeping slider. Techs starter was no cupcake and the team came through with solid hits.

This record with this schedule is not surprising. The real test will come SEC play bc the schedule has been soft so far.

I do expect this team to grow but the games they've played so far is just for confidence. The conference games are for growth.

February was sneaky long this year.

I don't remember one quite so long since 2012.I'm almost willing to bet we won't see another one that long until 2020...

What position do you think KRob has played his entire life?

What exactly is a "TRUE SS?" Defensively I haven't seen a problem. The middle infield of KRob and Freeman seem to be pretty dang solid to me.

Brain fart of typing and reading something else at the same time. I mean Freeman... Cole Freeman. I just combined his names on accident. It has been that kind of a day. I fixed it!

The fact you don't think Robinson is a very above average defensive shortstop shows how spoiled we have been at that position. From Hollander to Lemahieu one year to Nola for four to Bregman for three. Robinson is more than good enough to play that position in college and it will not be the reason if this team falls short of expectations.
