The throw was ill advised because after he tagged the bag it was more than likely too late and the runner would of been safe regardless, thus he should have never thrown it because the percentage of success was far too low to risk it. I was right there in real life and saw it unfold. This is just my opinion, although I feel pretty confident about it.

And dammit I'm jealous of this place. Theres a thread on the Dawgrant that has like 10 replies. The fact that yall get 32 pages for a damn baseball game blows me away.
I'll continue lurking in the SEC rant though.

That was a tough game to stomach tonight. UGA was getting every break possible.
Raph Rhymes is just freaking on another planet right now. The fact that Tuesday night the ump robbed him of a base hit. Tonight the center fielder made an OUTSTANDING diving catch. He should actually be batting better than he is.
Tough night in the field for the left side. We gave Georgia outs and made that game much more difficult. Both made up for it at the plate. Definitely something we need to continue to see from Hanover. Arby needs to keep swinging the bat. He had some good hits tonight that were right to fielders.
Crowd was juiced in the 8th when Nola smoked his home run.
Cotton pitched a very solid 7th and 8th inning. Props to bullpen for keeping us in this game.
