So 5% of people aren't realists and don't see that this is bad? Yes, some comments are ridiculous but most are saying things that they're frustrated with that Maineri will say in post game.

I'm frustrated as hell...but i'm not saying we're the most overrated team in the country or that we dont deserve to be ranked

I'm pretty sure he won't come out and say "it's okay, I'm fine with us losing 2/3 to the worst team in the conference coming off a bad mid-week loss, it's acceptable for the #1 team in the nation".

Our pitchers are getting ahead of batters; UT's pitchers are getting behind batters, but it's 9-0 UT. Frustrating.

Im not a realist because im not freaking out over 1 1/2 games. (sorry..im not counting a midweek game against NSU)? Look how bad Dean looked for quite awhile and he's now hitting over .300. It's laughable to think everything is horribly wrong all of a sudden with a team ranked #1. And it's baseball. There are gonna be stretches where a team struggles.

I just find it funny that you call it unacceptable? To whom? You? What are you going to do, bitch more now than you did when we were winning?
It's disappointing that we're losing a series to this team. I think if we played this series again, it would go very differently.
But, the reaction in this thread to this fact is waaay over the top.
We are getting beat by a bad team...and we are getting beat soundly. But, I think there is a very good chance that we'll be just fine.

The bullpen is what so frustrating, at least to me, outside of Ott, you can not count on them to close out a game or stop the bleeding and keep the game in realistic reach just like today...

Neither are most people but when people say something like Ross is sucking, or the bats aren't getting needed hits we are called bandwagon fans. Only about 2% of the people on here are saying things like "we are so overrated, we suck so bad, etc."

To me, 100% of the realist fans, the coach, the players.
The team is capable of being very good, as they have shown. It's one thing to lose a series to a great team, it's another, unacceptable thing, to lose a series to a poor team.
I'm not going to sit here like some of you and act like this series means nothing.

i live in knoxville. i have been to several UT games, and they are BAD. Us losing one game to them, ok i can deal with it, but being down 9-0 to this team is pitiful.
