I only have control over south Mississippi. I can't control stuff up in the Northeast near DC, Philly, Boston, NYC, Starkville, etc., etc.

What's the latest they can start this game? Looks like another couple hrs of some pretty heavy weather coming from the west

The only BPB so far is "rain delay". Hopefully I can add to that before too long, it's time to

Damn straight. We can use this momentum going into the SECT.

From Twitter:
For Thursday through Saturday series:
"On Saturday, all curfew times will be waived in order to play the game on Saturday. No games will be continued to Sunday, however, teams can stay over until Sunday to get the game completed on Saturday."
That wording seems confusing to me but maybe I ain't all that bright.

Per Bill Franques, SEC weather rules are that game can't go into Sunday. Meaning they could conceivably wait until prob 10

By the way, LSU and MSU were not constrained by TV today. Were cleared by Herb Vincent to start early, but the window wasn't there.

You can start on Saturday and carry into Sunday.

I'd like you to create the thread earlier in the day so my lazy arse doesn't have to look it up on the internet. I told you this before. Get it done. At least 2 hours before.

quote:OK. So latest start time could be 11:59, I'm guessing? If there is a delay after midnight, I'm guessing the game can't resume after that?
You can start on Saturday and carry into Sunday.

It's confusing to me too because this

sounds like they were constrained by TV.

What confuses me is the one guy Tweets that Bill Franques says the game can't go into Sunday but that rule makes it look like it can go into Sunday.
Florida just beat Kentucky, btw.

Pretty much means that you don't get 4 days to play 3 games, but the team doesn't have to head home on Saturday night since there is no classes on Sunday. The Friday-Sunday series rules probably require a team to head home Sunday so as to not miss any class on Monday.

UF wins 6-4, so we're locked into the #2 seed in Hoover. This game is now for a share of the SEC title with UF.
