Especially when he hadn't pitched since Wednesday, even if it was a long outing.

the inning with the failed bunt attempt was easily the worst of the weekend.

Its baserunning and pitching more than the bats...

I beg to differ. How many 1-hit ABs with popup or groundout did we have this series? Too many.

3rd base is killing us right now for sure. I'm worried about pitching more than anything though...it seems like a few guys have actually taken a step back from last year.

Bats too!

Just an overall bad weekend, looked like trouble after we had to sweat out the last couple of innings Friday night...

That emoticon looks a lot like the Auburn fan that got out of his car on the main highway yelling at me because I inched up too close to him in a traffic jam on the way out of Auburn in 2008.

He was crying like that after Auburn just let LSU, Les Miles, and last but not least Jarrett Pick Six Lee beat them in 08.

You do got a point there when I think about it...we were really shitty in all phases at the worst times...

thanks, I actually missed the bottom of the ninth, I figured Ott would come in and shut it down and we'd be heading to extras. Went to go make something to eat really fast. Sucks for me.

THAT is what I'm saying!

How in the hell do you leave Ott sitting to start the bottom of the 9th? I will not listen to any of the excuses and I don't give a frick how Ross was pitching. That was a stupid, stupid move on PM's part. He was trying to be cute and save his trump card for the 10th inning.

Alabama, Ole Miss, then Florida coming up.

Alabama has been realing lately, but they showed a lot of heart today against Kentucky. They might be fighting for their lives against LSU.

But this series loss might fire LSU up like they have been fired up the past two years.

I don't get why we didn't walk the last batter...that made no sense to me.

I am betting that PM didn't have Ott up when LSU tied the game because he wasn't expecting a bottom of the 9th.

Ross' pattern this season has been that he has a bad inning. He made it through 4 great innings and should not have started the 9th.

Yep, next 4 SEC series vs. ranked teams. Put up or shut up time.

I don't think so, a coach always has to plan that his team will take care of business. Ross was knocking down our guys with ease, he probably wanted to save Ott for the extra innings.

even then, that would be silly in a one run game not to have him at least warm up.

I really don't think we have the arms this year. We should make it to Omaha (we should definitely at least get to a super regional), but I don't expect this team to win it.

I'm okay losing a series to LSU so long as we can win other series, like the sweep we have in the works against Miss St. Eibner just hit Grand Slam and Hogs should should have 1st place in West for at least this week.

Hogs sweeping State; Eibner has hit another Grand Slam; Cox is batting over .500 in SEC play
