Shitty base running. Wasted opportunities

I want one of those in/out replay graphics like they have for tennis. I have zero doubt that the tech already exists to apply it to baseball.

With all the base runners we’ve had so far 2 runs isn’t enough

Have had this dude on the ropes every inning and just can’t deliver the knockout blow.

Our average with RISP cannot be good unless I just have selective memory loss

Again, I really think he will improve with more consistent at bats
Coming into tonight’s game Will had 33 at bats

Willis probably shouldn't crowd the plate so much with how much he extends his arms during swings. I would never pitch his anything but inside. The only thing he can do is exactly what he just did, swing and miss, or hit weak grounders.

That's the problem of a short line up. Guys up top get on base and then it's a crapshoot (or worse) on if they get knocked in.

He has to fall back over the plate the way he leans his shoulders back towards the first base dugout while in his stance. There is no way you can get into a good hitting position in that stance without a lot of unnecessary movement when the ball is being delivered.
