You are generally told that if the ball is hit to anyboy but the 3rd baseman or the pitcher, you will go home.

Of course this is going to be different if the corners or the rest of the infield is playing in.

Proud of sciambre taking advantage of his playing time, I would like to see him in the lineup a couple times a week. Guy's been through some wild times in his career.

Time to give Sciambra and Foster their due. They have served their time and waited patiently. They are both Senior leaders and class acts. The other boys look up to them and will follow them only if they play. No one follows a bench warmer. They will make a difference if both are allowed to continue to play. Don't forget that Sciambra hasn't been playing. He will need swings in live competition to get his timing down.
