Being fast is great, but if you don't have good instincts you better be Trindon fast which Landry isn't

Dear bats,

Don't listen to SLC. In the end he will give credits to the players anyway. He's a slave driver who is going to give you no recognition.

Thank you,

In the dirt, Landry is out stealing 2nd to end the inning, 3-0 Tigers, Bot 4.

It seems like it used to be hard to throw out the runner stealing. Now we are getting caught every time it seems. Are they just aware of it now and that is why we have no luck stealing or is this catcher really good at holding the runners? Guess both options could work together.

Wait up, I'm part of the football crowd as well as baseball and basketball. We are rough around the edges, but we also take care of opponents as well. To say we are not hospitable is not right.

Agreed. That statement from SLC was simply ignorant. Or maybe he's still mad from the barrage of piss baloons?

Landry is fast, but not a good baserunner?

Or hitter for that matter. If not for his defense, he would hardly see the field.

The only two guys whith OBPs on the same planet as Mitchell are Schimpf and LeMaheiu. I'd hate to move Schimpf's power and wast the RBI chances. LeMaheiu I could see, but he has struck out 27 times and has nowhere near the same kind of speed.

I think you're unreasonably obsessed with strikeouts even though Mithcell gets on base nearly FIFTY perfect of the time. Why does it matter if he strikes out 25% of the time, particularly if no one is base?

I'll buy that.

The football crowd can be very rough and certainly is not hospitable.

I think every fan base has that group of drunks that is a little excessive in their expression to the opposing fans. I think the vast majority of our fans are very hospitable and have fun with the opposing fans but certainly don't cross the line. Either you have only experience the first group or you are a little sensitive (no offense intended). Just sayin'.

Dress up as an opposing fan, cheer for the other team and come back.

I don't think there is a free audio internet link for the LSU network. You might try googling the Arkansas radio network.
