Hey you prepubic a-hole, I'm still here. Please tell me what your affliation with LSU actually is and what degree you actually have from there.
Posted on 4/9/11 at 11:47 pm to avondale88
I'm pretty sure I just told you I did not graduate from LSU. Maybe you should use your fancy degrees and actually learn something for a change.
Prepubic? I'm 21. Nice try though, you continue to show your internet tough guy act.
And both my parents went to LSU.

I am not sure what his deal is, but we are all frustrated by the play of the baseball team. No excuse for name calling though. On the bright side, I am apparently going to save thousands of dollars by not going to Omaha this year.

Yes it is! I love seeing a good crow hop.
Avondale is a bitter old man who believes that the under 30 generation knows nothing about sports. Not worth anyones time.

I'm coaching 13/14 year olds this year. The first day with the outfielders was an adventure to say the least. I could be wrong, but I don't think I have any future Tigers on my roster.
The crow hop is apparently beyond my group.

Hell, I am 51. Old yes, but bitter? No. I would not normally have given a shite, but his "hey assholes" post was directed to me for no good reason IMO.

Quick question for you guys who follow your team closely....
When there is a ball hit on the ground between short and 3rd, does your 3rd baseman normally act like he is going for the ball then bring his glove up at the last minute all the time?
He did this two times tonight, both times leading to a misplay or an error by your SS. It almost looked like from my vantage point, that he was baiting him to fail.
Am I way off base with what I thought I saw? Do you guys know what I am talking about?

Haven't seen it happen alot, Hanover needs to learn to pull up just before that

Do you remember seeing what I am talking about? Two times for sure I thought your 3B was going to make the play. Both of those times he lifted his glove. Thing is, he could have probably made the play and not even have been close.
I understand SS has the "right of way" on plays like that, but it seemed to make your SS lose focus.

I know what you are talking about, and our 3B hasn't done it in the past. He needs to stop doing it

Yea, not a good move.
I thought I noticed it from my seat. Just watched replays of the game on Razorvision and he certainly caused a couple miscues by doing it. Saw one in particular in slow motion. On that particular ground ball your SS ended up kicking the ball forward.
Anyway, was just curious. Good luck the rest of the way.

Does that include tomorrow?

Of course. We have already won the series.
I've enjoyed both games the last two nights. Not because we won, but because I was able to witness two great programs go at it. Both teams wanted this series very badly. I had the opportunity to watch baseball in one of the best atmospheres in college baseball.
Both teams have a problem of getting runners home when they are in scoring position. Both teams seem to have fairly solid pitching. I've not seen Sanburn give up a hit all year long like he did tonight. That was a solid shot on a nasty pitch.
Heck, Ive enjoyed this series, and I would say the same thing if the series was 0-2 or 1-1 right now.
You guys have a good night.

third baseman has priority on any ground ball that is hit between him and the shortstop.. all of his momentum is going toward first base to make an easier throw.. total opposite for the SS going towards the third base line.. gotta stop, plant, and make the throw across his body...
but to answer your question I dno why our 3rd baseman does that
