Or at least let Johnny take over as hitting coach after hoop season ends

TCU has been three years in a row.

if it was so easy why wouldn't USC be there every year?

This game was Pap's fault? How?

He played terrible. Allowed multiple runners to get into scoring position.

When? I was only able to watch the back five innings, but it seemed to me like he wasn't at fault for any runs scored.

One game should dictate a change of the catchers position.

Ok. Right.

Kramer Robertson had a shite game last year, should we have benched him?

I encourage certain posters on this board to watch more than the big Friday tourney game.

4 stolen bases. One caught stealing on a PO and only bc Coleman made a great tag. One instance he didn't even throw down to contest the runner taking 2nd (there was a runner on 3rd but we were up 4-1 at that point). One throw to third skipped into left field. Terrible at bats. Looked lost all night long.

Did he ever go talk to his pitchers to settle them down? He might have but never saw it.

Just one of his worst nights

That was a good game for going up against the number one team in the nation. I think if we were playing the series against them we take the next game. Just being honest.

Honestly it looked like he played tentative all night. 2 errors and looking lost at the plate. With his exp you don't expect that 1st AB where you have runners on 2d and 3d, 1 out, and he whiffs badly on three balls. Certainly not saying it is ALL his fault, but he had a bad game no doubt and needs to bounce back.

LSU needs to take a page from TCU's book IRT their approach at the plate. Make the other P throw strikes. Don't expand the zone. Too many swing/misses at pitches out of the zone last night. P is getting ahead early, and setting the pace. Lange had NO command of his pitchers last night, and TCU took adv of it. The BB to the 8/9 hitters in the 2d is inexcusable and spelled disaster. They were patient all night, and delivered big hits.

Got to tip your hat to TCU, and say we'll see you again down the road. Lot of games between now and then, but NO DOUBT there are areas that we need to improve upon if we want to get to and compete in Omaha. GT!

Can we get Woley back in the lineup today? And maybe give beau a chance also. He was 3 for 3 last game and then we sit him on the bench and Woley has been great at dh. Why mess with the lineup pawl?

If I'm CPM I would start Romero at C and put Woley at DH. It's as much a case of getting Woley AB's as it is sitting Paps.

Unless Romero isn't healthy enough to catch, in which case I guess you have to roll with Paps.

I am not complaining but this is certainly a place for improvement. TCU just wore Lange down and frustrated him with their discipline at the plate

It's clear that the loss of Andy as hitting coach will hurt. Still don't think it's time to overreact!

Our starting catcher is batting over .300 with a decent number of RBI's. One bad game & ranters want him benched? Looked like he was pressing a bit, mabe all those scouts in the stands, but can't hold one game against him. And last I read JR was having shoulder issues that was restricting his throwing?
