Second of all...It's a 3 game series and you might want to temper your enthusiasm...seen it a number of times.
third....Arky is a fundamentally good team but not a good enough team to make it to the CWS. LSU is good enough to make it to the CWS. Thats just reality....

I'm gonna explain this as easily as I can.
This game right here, is the first of 3. A series in baseball consists of 3 games. Taking at least 2 of the 3 games which are played in this series is the minimal success that can be achieved.
Winning the 1st game of the 3 games that are played in a baseball series is good, but that does not mean the other team cannot win the next 2 games, in this series of 3 baseball games.

Thing is we see the bigger picture because we routinely get to bigger games. You have to have wins against teams like LSU because thats all you ever get.

This should be valuable experience for Alsup. He has to bring his game to another level in the SEC. If he's any kind of competitor then I am sure he will learn from this.

i hate to bring it up, but we beat Tenn 18-3 in the first game of a 3 game series and then wound up losing the series...this thing is FAR from over and we could very well still win this series
