Damn you're way ahead of me. Question, is Feduccia hurt again or did Mainieri just want to play Coomes?
LHP for Ole Miss if I had to guess. Feduccia’s defense hasn’t been good enough lately to sacrifice Coome’s somewhat hot bat

Why can’t slaughter play short until Smith is fully ready? Hughes just always feels like an automatic out.
Because SS is a defensive position and its not like Slaughter has been lights out at the plate.
If you have 2 guys who can't hit then you play the one who can actually play short

I have zero confidence in Hughes doing anything at the plate but hitting a pop up at this point. His bat is just not ready for this level. I do commend him for the job he has done defensively until Smith is ready to move back to short.

He’s battling tho. I like to see my ace battle when he doesn’t have his best stuff against a guy that could be the first pick in the draft this year.

Hess has to lead the SEC in giving up base hits with an 0-2 count on the batter.

Spoke to Paul Mainieri. Not much to update y’all on other than the fact Caleb Gilbert’s bullpen went great yesterday and should be available tomorrow.
