Lange won't pitch any more in this game, he's just listed there since he was pitching when the game was suspended. Our starter today will officially be a relief pitcher, so we don't have to reveal who it is in advance.

So, here's a recap of the events so far. Lange and Shore were the starting pitchers, and neither allowed a run through 2.5 innings. The game was suspended in the bottom of the 3rd while we were batting. Here's what happened there:
Deichmann grounded out 4-3
Freeman hit a chopper to 2B and he couldn't handle the hop, so Freeman reached 1st on what was ruled an infield hit
While Duplantis was batting, Freeman stole 2nd
Duplantis worked the count full, then the game was suspended
And that's where we'll resume. 0-0 score, bottom of the 3rd, Freeman on 2nd, 1 out, Duplantis batting with a 3-2 count.

Even though Shore won't pitch anymore, we still have a chance to give him his first loss of the season. He's responsible for Freeman at 2nd, so score Freeman and hold that lead for the rest of the game, and Shore would take the loss.
