Well Lange isn't pitching the rest of the weekend so that's why you have to save him in case. 2/3 doesn't guarantee LSU a top 4 seed either

Cameraman said game was cancelled tonight. About to be announced. Resumed tomorrow.

They won't waste Lange if they don't win Game 1 or 2. Even if they split the odds of them getting a top 4 seed would still be low considering the SEC scores right now. Lange will need to pitch Tuesday in single elimination. Instead of a POSSIBILITY of a 4th seed because if they win Game 3 they could still finish with the 5th seed

He cannot pitch Saturday because it would spoil him for the single-elimination opener of the SEC tournament.

Why can't they play a double header tomorrow? I keep seeing everyone say double header on Saturday. Is the weather going to be for sure shitty at some point tomorrow as well?

Do they throw Riley Smith when Game 1 resumes tomorrow? Might be a worthwhile strategy to see if he can go the rest of the way and try to ensure no sweep.
