Would be a great time for Paul to retire. Bring it full circle

Wouldn't be the worst spot at all for LSU

Then call me crazy but Tennessee would be a winnable super regional.

LSU got swept but two of the games were really close.

Look at all those SEC schools hosting and LSU isn’t one of them...

It’s so bad right now; this kind of makes me more hopeful

I'd take that in a nanosecond.

I know nothing of the seasons ND or Indiana St are having, but if you think @ Tenn wouldn't be a winnable SR you are dreaming, and simply enjoy getting off on pissing on Mainieri.

Wouldn't it be something for CPM in his final season to win a regional at the last school he coached at before LSU?

This isn't his final season if he wins a regional.

If we were to play in Knoxville for a super regional, those obnoxious students would catch these hands.

They must be hard up for content.....Geez, the SEC tournament doesn't start til May 25th!

They dont have a clue who will be in regionals at this point!

Every sport does projections. I’m pretty sure ESPN is already projecting the Natty game for football next year.

If he can win a regional with this team... I don't know what more accomplishments he could have as a coach. What a way to go out.

I'd take that right now.
Not going to happen, but one can dream.

Exactly. LSU is going to get one of the top seeds like they do every time they have to travel for a regional.

At absolute worst, LSU is going to have to win 13 SEC games to get into the NCAAT (or get lucky and win the SECT, if they even qualify). That would require them to finish the SEC schedule 12-9. With series remaining against Arkansas, Ole Miss, and South Carolina, they are gonna to win the series against Kentucky, Alabama, A&M, and Auburn (sweeping one of them) and win, on average, one game against each of Arkansas, Ole Miss, and South Carolina. Call me crazy, but I don't see it unless some drastically changes. Almost impossible to start 1-8 and get yourself back in the NCAAT.

LSU started 4-14 and finished 13-17 in 2011

But the last four series that season were very very easy outside of a trip to Alabama they screwed up.
