Hope I'm wrong but his symptoms sound like tj to me. Tendonitis is in the elbow and gets better after a little rest. You can feel tendonitis and know it not as serious as it seems with Walker.

I thought Walker's discomfort was in his forearm. May be wrong though.

If it's his elbow I hope we get it right the first time. Don't want to forego surgery now only to find out it's required next spring.

We're in bad shape if this happens.

I know it's probly Germans but what exactly happened to Lockridge? Was it career ending a multiple year thing or what?

Cam Sanders could be a starter. Dad played in the show as a pitcher and his baseball IQ is pretty good. Has great mental makeup from what I understand. Sunday guy if Walker is healthy.

He had a stress fracture in his back and was an injury that needs time to heel properly on its own which conflicted with summer league, fall ball, and would have eventually put him back for practice in January. He decided to sit out the entire 16-17 academic year and by the time he was healthy this summer he may have had a change of heart with a better opportunity to play with ULL earlier.

If Cam Sanders can get two of his pitches over for strikes consistently absolutely he has the stuff to be at least a Sunday starter, with that being said he has got to get his walks down. Mainieri may want him as a 1-2 lock down guy out of the pen which his velocity.

Bechtold is not expected to reach campus. Unfortunately.

Walker is a huge X-factor. But there will be enough talent to get back to Omaha in '18. It may be ugly at times but they can do it.
