It's typical Barrett Sallee. He despises the fact that Miles won't change the offense (not get rid of Cam Cameron as well). If you read anything he does that has to do with the SEC as a whole or just his typical questions, it's always cut and paste for LSU.

I don't understand him and others that think Ole Miss is the only other realistic shot for the SEC West. Having a QB and WRs, but nothing else will not land them where people think it will. He expects the game at Wisconsin to be close and that is hilarious. If he had to bet a 1000 or two, no way in hell would he bet LSU finishing anywhere lower than 10-2.

Ole Miss doesn't get us at Ole Miss, Ole Miss doesn't get us AFTER two grueling games vs Bama and Arkansas (pretty much the same type of team separated only by talent). We don't have a Kevin Steele defense, we aren't playing with 3 freshman on OL and a freshman fullback, and Ole Miss is lacking in experience just about everywhere except skill positions on offense and QB.

Plus I really think people are underestimating the impact of a FB in a Les Miles run offense, and the experience a QB gains and the step he takes in his 2nd year 9f starting.

It's going to be a great year.

If Miles goes 8-4 with this team he will be fired on the spot. And by on the spot I mean on the Field at Kyle before the game is over.

Alum, and a family history at LSU that only a handful of people in its history could come close to. It is US, beleive it!

The closest thing you will get to fair and accurate preseason predictions are in Phil Steeles magazine.

He must be a friend of Les.
He is giving him plenty of wiggle room for success.

He won't make it to Kyle Field if we are 8-3 or 7-4 heading into that game.

We will have a great team this year but will go only as far as Harris can take us. Our schedule is murderous so anything can happen. Florida and Arkansas on the road will be 2 tough games!!!

It's not impossible for his prediction to happen. I definitely think it's highly unlikely but it's clear LSU has had some issues the past few years. If they lose to Wisconisn the season could start to get out of control. Again I don't see that happening and think LSU should be in position to win the West but things happen. Road games at Wisconsin, Auburn, Florida, Texas A$M, and Arkansas are no gimmes. Bama and Ole Miss at home appear to be the more challenging games right now.

The years LSU doesn't start off 7-1 or 8-0 are when UF and Auburn are better than LSU. They aren't.
