Are you talking to Saban, or Meyer, or Kiffin, or any of the other SEC coaches? Because you can bet your bottom dollar that they will use this in recruiting against us.

I've been telling myself that same thing for 2 years now but each day, each time I hear news, it gets harder and harder to swallow. If you think everything is just peachy in BR with regards to LSU football, you must have the rosiest colored glasses ever.

I am not unduly negative and take up for LSU, it's coaches and players every chance I can. It is increasingly hard to take up for coach Miles.

Again, this team had better play well in Orlando and compete for the SECW next year.

wow, WTF? That is seriously disappointing. But hey, Louisiana isn't for everybody.

Does he realize that he took the scholarship of another player that could've come here.

It ain't like LSU is chopped liver. People are lining up to come play for us.

Good points. He could always sell his NC ring for a bus ticket back to Detroit.

Maybe he meant playing in these bowl games every year this time of year. He may have meant that in a sarcastic way because there are a lot of college football players that are going to be home for xmas.

I guess the only team that he'll play for in the NFL is the Detroit Lions...

FWIW, he is not the only player that regrets coming to LSU

I'm sure a majority of the players do right now

Remember when Shep's facebook status said something along the lines of "hoping he didn't make the biggest mistake of his life"? Is there anything to read into that given Barksdale's tweet?

If this is how players on a 9-3 team feel (with many having a championship ring from 2007), I am surprised that there isn't Jonestown-levels of mass suicide on teams that can't make it to a bowl game.

There has been turmoil on every team. Florida has had like 25 arrests in 4 years. Bama was cutting scholarships to make room for their 30 person recruiting classes.

Elite recruits are extremely pampered in general. With unrealistic expectations, the vast majority are bound to be disappointed, and they may blame coaches, the school, or teammates for their own unreasonable expectations. Of course it isn't completely their fault since they have had people kissing their arse constantly since the age of 12 or 13 if not earlier.

Come on, so he is responsible for everything 80+ 18 to 21 year olds put on their twitter? Blame him for being a piss poor clock manager at Ole Miss but dont dog pile him everytime ANYTHING happens.

Irrelevant.

If you only knew how little respect Miles claims among this team's players(especially the older guys) you'd be outraged and singing a different tune.

That's ok, though. You can pretend everything is just fine and continue to be shocked when players/former players lash out against the program. Just don't be too surprised when you get called an idiot.

i mean turmoil as in internal drama

since RP was kicked off there has been a ton of drama, in-fighting, "sides," and quitting

UF, Bama, and UT haven't had this. at least not that i've heard

Maybe you haven't heard about UF, Bama, or UT problems because you don't have any 'sources' at any of those schools.

Again, if you think that this is in some way unique to LSU or Miles, you have a lot to learn.

Some of the most successful teams in the history of sports have been a disaster behind the scenes, hell even the 1992 Dream Team would fit that description.

But but but if SFP hasn't heard of this sort of thing occurring at UF, UT, or Bama then that means that it doesn't. When has SFP ever been wrong?
