He probably was pissed when he got moved to O-line and now he's sick of hearing the criticism that the O-line has gotten all year long.

the reasons are irrelevant

he isn't the only kid on LSU's roster who thinks they made a mistake. those feelings are on every roster all around the country. sometimes, they're legit, sometimes they're just confused an homesick. it doesn't matter

what matters is he said it on his twitter account, which he knows is monitored by LSU's SID office

I think they are mostly irrelevant, but it would be beneficial for the coaches to know why one of your better starting players feels like playing for you is the biggest mistake he has ever made in his life. I druther that he didn't make it public but it's important for the staff to get to the bottom of this.

Wrong.
He was when he first came here, that's why he stated he wanted to come to LSU. He must have changed majors since then, that doesn't make him stupid.

The overall state of the program falls squarely on his shoulders. The news lately has gotten increasingly bad. His noose is tightening. This team had better play well in the bowl game and compete for the SECW next year.

He's probably just cracking the whip on them a little harder. When your coaches (that includes position coaches, OC and HC) have allowed a substandard level of play to become acceptable... and are now going about correcting the situation... You may find yourself having to put in the work necessary.

That's life.

The overall state of the program is pretty damn good if you'd just take a step back and look at everything objectively instead of trying to pile on with your negative attitude. There are things that need to be improved, but you could say the same thing about any program in the country.

When i was younger i moved to Texas to live with my dad. I love and respect my dad more than anyone on Earth but i hated Texas with a passion and i told everyone. Does that mean i loved or respected my father any less? No. Is it his fault that i hated Texas? No. Could he have stopped me from telling everyone i hated Texas? No.

Don't let your hatred for Miles blind you. Not everything is his fault as much as you would like to think otherwise.

Well, if he didn't have a reason to hate LSU before he does now because apparently we're gonna hate him back in spades.

I feel sorry for the kid. Kids are dumb sometimes but a misplaced word or moment of depression usually doesn't cause a couple million of the most insane SEC fans to want you tarred and feathered and run out of town and dumped in the river.

He's so screwed now it's sad.

Cut the kid some slack. This does not hurt LSU in recruiting in Louisiana and the South. Sure it may hurt up North, but LSU doesn't really need to recruit Michigan and Ohio.

His final four was supposedly Michigan, Michigan State, LSU,and Ohio State in any order. Supposedly MSU was second because he liked Mark Dantonio, but outside pressures and influences had an influence on him going to LSU.

He most likely should have stayed closer to home, but it's a real stretch to say that this hurts LSU and the future of the program. Look, Mark Ingram at Alabama was the exception as well. I seriously doubt that Nick is now going to have a pipeline to Michigan. Since his time at LSU and Alabama he's lost more Michigan recruits than he has gained.

Ingram is the big exception. It was down to Alabama and Michigan State, but Nick had a relationship with the kid for a long time given his dad's and Nick's ties to the State of Michigan. Plus, Ingram needed a change of scenery like some kid from New Orleans may need to get out of state.

Cut Barksdale some slack.
