So what now? Barksdale is a junior. Is he going pro? Is he coming back for his senior year? If he feels like this, does the coaching staff let him play in the bowl game?

What a hell of a year this has been - not the 9-3 record, but the Ole Miss debacle, the offensive problems, and now this.

I think this might actually be kind of a case of ESPN hating LSU. I know they love stories of players and their twitters and facebooks, but was this that important to have a mini segment on it?

That said, this was not a smart move by Joe B.

I realize there are people that regret coming to LSU, but as a player still on the team, you don't say that. At least wait until you have no ties to the university. He will probably get a degree for free, so it couldn't have been all that bad.

Have any of you been say in Detroit for Christmas and your family is in BR? Just asking.

I've missed some holidays, which are big in my family, and it was 100% miserable.

I think the reaction on here is a joke. Let Miles handle this and whatever JB may say in public and move on.

agree but kick him off the team for being a fool?

not reality

He has brought embarrassment to the University and Team. Also, this doesn't make Miles look good. And I want someone on my team that actually wants to be here.

Im more pissed at the way espn intentionally made a mockery of LSU...leaving out all of our great game finishes and throwing that in to finish the show..not as much with Barksdale

he's gonna be a three year starter in the sec and leave this place with a ring. what a shitty life.

i feel sorry for anyone who misses detroit.

JB came in with a lot of hype, and i would say he's been simply average. i woudn't miss him if he let.

You think he would have been happier at Notre Dame or Michigan? Home for the holidays every season.

Well, that'll be just great for recruiting. Nutt is printing up placards of that right now.

With great privelage comes great responsibility.

What someone on here might feel, or publically say is really irrelevant to what barksdale can pubically say. He has gotten privelages most people don't, so he is held to different standards too.

Sounds like he should have went to Michigan instead so that he wouldn't be bowl bound and could have went home. I mean he obviously wants to be a part of a losing program instead.

Of course I doubt he'd be making these comments if he was bcs bound.
