This almost assuredly will be the CBS prime time game of the year right?
A: I know this happens before the season kicks off but when does this get officially announced?
B: Is there another game in the SEC this year that at this point could possibly be more worthy that I'm overlooking?

Usually it's announced two weeks before the game but since it's the LSU vs Bama game, it may be decided a little sooner.

I don't have a helmet schedule to look at other SEC games that same weekend but I would assume it'll be on CBS but who knows. Last year it was on ESPN or ABC. One of those. Fowler and Herbstreit called the game.

ETA: Here’s the helmet schedule.

I’m sure CBS will announce soon which weekend will be the double header.

I found it, CBS has already stated Saturday November 4th will be the day of their primetime slot. Only other half interesting SEC game potentially is Ole Miss vs ATM that day.

Will be a night game. CBS already announced that weekend as the CBS double header.

Well since UGA plays another middle school schedule I’d say the biggest game of the year will be LSU -Bama. And the winner will skull frick UGA by 20 like normal in the SEC ship.

Why do you believe anyone on this board could answer this question?

I dunno, seems to me Ole Miss/A&M is a better game than 8-0 Georgia vs 4-4 Mizzou

It does, but UGA Mizzou was pretty close last year. Neither of them are lsu/Bama though.

Looked for a big game on Georgia schedule; don’t see any. They must have the easiest schedule in SEC.
