You chicken little mf'ers. If we had stopped Bama on the last drive and won 13-10, would you be starting threads saying "LSU is clearly the better, superior coached football team. Alabama should consider firing Nick Saban."

+1
I'm not one that will rag on the Bama win, they deserve it. However, I would have liked to see Alexander keep his cool and the ref either call offsetting penalties or just keep the darn flag in his pocket.

"You can argue to make yourself feel better"

I don't know that I have argued at all or if so, about what.

Do you even see the irony in this statement? Especially when followed up with a line about Saban's "three national championships?"

Yes, I believe it's irony of the Socratic variety. Three "more" national championships for Les. lil nicky has four.

Then educate me, Glaucon, for I am admittedly ignorant on the subject, and explain how it is that Saban's overtime loss in 2011 not only doesn't count against him, but works to his credit since it allowed him to win an additional national championship. Surely it is obvious to one so wise as you.

Also how self-loathing do you idiots have to be to retroactively award LSU's 2003 national championship to Alabama for the purposes of these arguments?

You obviously are ignorant. Award bama LSU's national championship? Check the thread title. It's regarding the coach. Who's the better coach? That might include an account of his body of work as a coach things like championships, winning percentage, etc. ya moron.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU BECOME A bama FAN.

LSU had a better game plan, executed better in all areas but one.

THE REC BAGMEN BOUGHT THE GAME LOCK STOCK AND BARREL.

LSU was jobbed.

Not blaming Les except for the crappy QB situation which has become part of his legacy. But look back at the MANY games which LSU, under Les, was exceedingly lucky to win.

the one where LSU played lights out and allowed bama to score at the end of each half just like in 2012? Better coached teams score at the end of halves and win games they shouldn't

The only logical explanation I can think of is that God hates LSU.

This myth needs to die. It only gave them an extra 10 yards and maybe 5 seconds. They would have gotten in FG range regardless

Possibly but having that kick go out of bounds deflates the defense while pumping up the offense, who both know that is 10 less yards the offense has to get to get into FG position.

t's regarding the coach. Who's the better coach?

Freud would have a field day with the average LSU fan. Textbook oedipal case.

Ah yes, it is obvious zat, in ze mind of the Tiger fan, the role of the father figure has been replaced by Nick Saban. Clearly he has strong feelings of abandonment and betrayal by ze foster father figure, and has an overwhelming subconscious urge to make ze father love him again. Of course, part of this urge is one to denigrate, insult and - subconsciously of course - even murder the current father figure, a certain Leslie Miles, so zat the former father will know zat he is welcome to return.

So Saban is a better head coach overall than Les Miles...He is a future hall of fame college head coach. Are you just now figuring this out? What's the point of your post other than to state the obvious?

If your point is to say that LSU is not well coached, then you need to take a step back and re-evaluate.

You guys who blame the coaches never offer up a better staff to compete with Saban's staff.

Yet saban needed to be bailed out against our poor coach. He's needed a mulligan, an ot win and a missed tackle at the end of a game.

Bama players should be coached better. Most of their players are in their third or fourth year in the Alabama program. We had 19 year olds hanging with 21 year olds all season. Just wait till next year and especially the year after.
