When your RB has 30+ carries...translation: our QB sucks

Yeah, I think we should forfeit; no chance. Why don't you just show up to practice Tuesday and boo our players.

Exactly. I'm not sure Lee makes it out of the 1st quarter against Bama. And he threw about 5 passes today that Bama would have picked.

We don't beat them without him, imo. It'll take an extra set of tools.

i love the way some on here declare wins or losses before the games are even played. last week we were a lock for the nc game and now there's no way we can beat bama. bama's defensive strategy tonight was exactly the same as against us last year; shut down the run and make the qb beat you. and we did. they are not going to shut down our running game unless our OL keeps getting dinged and we have to switch everybody around (like we did tonight) on short notice. yes, they will slow it down. and i think we are a better passing team. what we cannot do and still beat them is drop the number of passes we did today. i've never seen that many drops (eight or nine) on passes that could have been caught. anyways, we have to beat florida, ut and auburn for the bama game to be that epic.

TR is a stud. No doubts from me. But defending the run is our strength. Chavis will stack the box, run blitz and try to limit TR and force McCarron to beat our DB's man up.

I like our D v them strength v strength

The game Nov 5 will not be about our D. We will play well enough on D to win

The game comes down to our O v their D. can we run and mix enough play action to move the ball long sustained drives? That will determine the game IMHO

I wonder how McCarron is going to play when we hit him six or seven times and sack him two or three times.

I think you shut down Bama anemic passing game, it becomes one dimensional for Bama.

Don't forget that no team has ever won an SEC title with a first year quarterback. And McCarron is a 1st year QB. Namath didn't do it, Spurrier didn't do it, and Tebow didn't do it--to my knowledge no one has ever done it.

This.

Bama looked good, but we looked better against oregon than bama looked tonight. Fact. One flat game against a bad team and the season is over. I will admit that I'm a little concerned with Miles tinkering with the offense by overusing JJ.

not impressed with their QB thus far this season

This along with take away TR, who's running the ball? Lacy? Fowler?

SIAP A 5th yr QB could prove to be very valuable vs a RS freshman QB.

LSU:
Ware
Ford
Blue
Magee
Gore (if he's out of whatever dog house he's in)
