Ok, so in this thread Iv'e been called retarded, fricking retarded, and a troll. Just because I can see the truth and accept it doesn't make me any of those things.

It was ruled incomplete on the field. It was reviewed. The ruling stood. I've supplied a link to the rules, and still & video evidence.

Carry on .

Keep on keeping on. Where are the stills? Because your videos show what mine do, and mine show an intercepted pass and a blown call and review.

Look closely at the 3rd video right above your post.

JFC... Jones touches the ball out of bounds.

I just don't understand why so many fans can't let this go. It was clearly the right call.

Ruling on the field, incomplete pass. They reviewed it. Please move on .

When has this ever been called in the history of football? It's an asinine argument!

Never mind that it's false. It's absolutely absurd to argue this, because it never gets called this way!!!! PRODUCE ONE OTHER EXAMPLE!

f that's the case, which its not but I'll entertain it anyways, then that would be illegal touching on Julio. 5 yard penalty and loss of down.

And still Bama's ball, but it wasn't illegal touching because he didnt go out of bounds THEN back in to touch the ball.

But it was not ruled incomplete because of Jones touching the ball. How can you not understand this?

Or are you just refusing to pay attention?

Jones touches the ball first.

After watching the video and looking at the still shot posted in this thread, I can see only one way that Jones could have touched the ball before Peterson. He would have to have Inspector Gadget arms to reach out beyond Peterson to touch the ball first.

Are you suggesting that Jones yelled "go go gadget" and his arms extended out past Petersons arms and he touched the ball while he was out of bounds? That's the only damn explanation!

This was not the call on the field. The call was that Peterson was out of bounds.
The pass was incomplete. Frame it however you want, and never let it go, ever.

I'd like to frame it in reality. Why can't you?

this is only what it appears on the surface. They called it that way because they knew the game didn't matter and they wanted bama to have the mental advantage of playing with a chip on their shoulder for the rematch.

He graduated from Rice.

Has little bearing on the integrity of his calls and team.

Bama fans still argue that Reid interception, even as clear cut as it was.

At that point LSU was down by 6 points (21-15) with right under six minutes to go. Pretty sure this is the drive where Bama kicked their field goal to go up 9.

So...you don't think LSU getting the ball with about six minutes to go down 6 points couldn't have changed the outcome of the game?
Irrelevant. The call was correct, and LSU blew a 3rd and 7 on the next play. It wasn't a 9-point call just like it wasn't a 16-point call in tiger stadium five years earlier.
