while the story is terrible, it makes a point to say that details of what started the fight are unknown. so lets not post lsu fans killed a bama fan over the game. This occurred at a bar after midnight. Bad things happen at bars after midnight.

could have been over a girl, money, or a spilled beer.

I thought I read that it had to do with a female cousin of the victim. Not defending the perps but this may not be the full story.

I wish our OL and coaching staff would’ve had the same fire as these jackasses did.

Here we go with convicting people who haven’t had a chance to defend themselves.

the guy's own daughter posted something on facebook saying it was about something else, not the game.

maybe that's changed but who knows when you're dealing with ignorant hillbillies.

As Paul Harvey would say I need the rest of the story, there is no telling what started this, I doubt it was solely the game.

If you two wanted to take out Alabama Frustration on someone should’ve just traveled 20 more miles down I 55 and took out the barber in Amite It’s a football game, no innocent person deserves to lose their life Over a football game. That’s some shite you hear about in Alabama after Alabama loses

Had nothing to do with the game or him being a Bama fan
quote:

Witnesses told her that while her dad and cousin were at the bar, a man took issue with some of the interactions the cousin was having with one of the women at the bar, Bowers said. Bowers said she was told two men approached her father. One tapped him on the shoulder and said, “Your old lady . . .” and then punched him, she said. Bowers fell out of his chair and hit his head on the floor, she said. “They kept hitting him while he was on the ground.”

this too

. They believe the attack was motivated by Bowers' fandom.

there doesn't seem to be any evidence of this, just their speculation....that would certainly help boost gofundme donations.

They sucker punched him and beat him into unconsciousness because his cousin was being friendly and buying drinks? I'm sure his Bama gear had nothing to do with it

Jesus Christ, neck. This wasn't over a football game. There's already stories floating around and it has nothing to do with football. Way to spread this stupid shite around though.
