Greedy is the one being ridiculously selfish. I am simply letting him have the response his stupidity and selfishness deserve. Football is a TEAM sport and cannot survive if it's everyone for themselves whenever they feel it suits their purposes. This sitting out chickenshit is a cancer on the sport and needs to be confronted full force or it will eventually ruin it for everyone. Those who wish to soft coat the seriousness of what his individual selfishness represents as a threat to the game itself are missing the boat. This is a very slippery slope with no happy ending. The coaches and schools are in charge or the players are in charge. If it's the players, it's over and everybody loses.

does the mindset of this conversation change considering the article by Glenn Guilbeau that came out saying that the player did not even inform the head coach that he was leaving and not playing in the bowl game before he went public?

Cool that you know his financial situation. I’m sure he had enough to last the rest of his life. He played in a bowl game his last year btw.

If having a stockpile of $ is the only concern, it’s been established that insurance policies are available.
