This season was never really about the revenue from ticket sales. They’ll certainly take everything they can get, but The only reason we are seeing CFB this year is to preserve the TV $$$ for the season ($40-50mil per school). They’re going to get 8-10 SEC games in per team one way or another, even if it means playing SEC games after the SECCG.
Losing ticket revenue = really bad situation
Losing ticket revenue AND TV money = disaster

They just need to treat rest of season like camp, wouldn’t care if they forfeit rest of season if players could be coached

I can’t imagine ANOTHER weekend of no tiger football while many other games are on tv. I definitely would also like to play this game before going to farmville to play aggy

TV revenue alone for those 3 games should dworf any "travel expenses"

I think all LSU fans want to see the team play, but this team is so poorly coached and undisciplined - especially on defense - that when you know you're going to lose to another SEC bottom feeder, it's depressing.
I even feel sorry for the defensive players because you can tell they have no heart or will to win anymore. It's one thing to be young, but it's another when you have very good young talent and you watch teams with much less talent absolutely steamroll your team.
If LSU was playing with the heart that Arkansas is playing with now, every LSU fan would be in front of the television cheering them on every Saturday. Unfortunately, in just the span of a few months, we have become the Arkansas of the past two seasons!
Please tell me another NC that has fallen so quickly? You can't because there is no other team in the history of college football that has collapsed so quickly! I can't blame any LSU fan that hopes games will be cancelled because it's not fun to watch week after week!

Wrong. LSU is 16th in the country in penalty yards per game. The defense isn’t taking the coaching though, I’ll give you that.

When you're winning you want to talk a lot of shite and talk down teams that have to struggle for a while.
