You can't just say that he is a great coach. You have to qualify it somehow.
Why did you feel compelled to do that?
What is it with you people?

I almost got choked up reading that quote. No kidding. I am sure it is from the heart. What a great, great role model he is.
Can you imagine NS making a similar statement, and being sincere? Who would have thought the next coach after NS would be so much better?

Les has surrounded himself with great coaches and great players. He is responsible for putting that together and he has done an incredible job. Glad he is our coach.

I'm so proud of Les Miles. A totally decent human being.
And proud, as always, to be a LSU grad!

This is why I love our coach. He might have picked our coordinating staff and recruited the players, but when he receives an award for the outstanding job he has done, he turns right around and gives them the credit.
This is what a real leader does. Deflects credit when it is given to those on his team, and takes blame when it is, and sometimes even when it is not, his fault. Too bad there are not more like him in key leadership position around the country.

So impressive. I feel ridiculous for ever doubting him and never giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Our team is a quality group of men that just have to have victory, that will scrap and fight you tooth and nail for it. And I've got a quality group of coaches who love their players and put together great game plans. We fight together.
More wordy than..

Surprisingly, Les gets a lot of love here in Alabama, and I'm not talking LSU fans. Granted they're mostly Auburn fans who hate Bama with the same passion that i do but nevertheless. Les has a uniqueness coupled with an understated swagger that makes him very likable. Winning helps, absolutely, but it's hard not to like the guy, even if you're not an LSU fan. Most folks thinks he's a "character" that fits it with the Louisiana persona.

The guy is great. I'm so glad I was able to meet him a few times. He is one of the most respectful and nicest guy's you'll ever meet.
Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.
Les!
