It's a shame our O line isn't getting more recognition. I saw that Damien Lewis made 2nd team All-SEC, and that's great. But, I'm not sure how you can have one of the greatest seasons of offensive production in college football history and not have more love for the offensive line, without whom none of this would be possible.

But, again, it's more about pre-conceived notions than actual results. For the same reason Grant Delpit should not have been a Thorpe finalist (but should have won the award last year), our entire offensive line should be recognized in one way or another.

He never wraps up when he tackles. Always diving at people feet. Drives me insane. I still love the guy though.

O-LINE is getting recognized!!!

Joe Moore Award- Finalist are LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon.

The Advocate

quote:

The Joe Moore Award voting committee will announce its selection of finalists on Dec. 10 and the 2019 winner will receive a surprise visit to its campus in late December.

The 13-member Joe Moore Award voting committee judges solely on six criteria: toughness, effort, teamwork, consistency, technique and finishing.

The winner will be decided in a vote of 200 current offensive line coaches at the FBS level, as well as former players, coaches, colleagues of Moore and select media members.

Joe also won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm award. The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm award will be presented on Wednesday. It doesn't mention that it will be televised.

Crazy. What a difference a year makes... and a new offensive scheme.

I agree about Fulton. Nobody throws at him. IMO this makes him the best DB on the team. For example they throw at Stingley a lot.

I don’t think last week’s games will matter as much, since many of the voters had already mailed in their ballots. My next-door neighbor is a Heisman voter and he sent his in over a week ago.

This should be the National Coach of the Year. The turnaround he did at Baylor is nothing short of incredible.

LSUs players are going to rack up alot of awards. This team is going to set an awards record for an LSU team in one season I believe.

Stingley didn’t have enough pics ...

He’ll have to settle for Best Newcomer

Not a bad start ...

Sets the bar for Elias Ricks next year
