it was painful then, but at the end of the game I hugged the couple that sit next to me and acknowledged that 07 was the most exciting football season I had ever witnessed. even though at the time I thought we had been knocked out of contention for the NC I was just so grateful for the year.

Froze my arse off at the game.

Went to the game with my best friend and had possibly the best tickets i've ever had for a game. The end was rough, but it was a great game all around to watch. Booze, lots of offense, lots of emotions, all around a good time. It made the year a bit more humbling, but we won the BCS so who cares...

I actually watched this game about a year ago. Knowing how the season ended made it easy to watch it. Still can't believe we gave up the 4th and long in ot though. The crowd was going absolutely nuts there

I'm so glad I skipped the 1/9 game. I knew LSU would not beat Alabama twice given it was a revenge game for them. Never watched it so it's like it never happened. Lololol

That is when Mcfadden had that wood though.

Every loss to Arkansas was Miles' worst. We basically do not practice for that game. Perhaps we'll take the A & M game more serious around Thanksgiving. If we played Arkansas early in the year we'd be 22-0 against them since 1992.

This is so true. We used to have the same problem with the end of the year games against Tulane in the 70s and 80s. 1982 in particular.

Game turned out to be meaningless.

Turned out that way but sure didn't seem like it at the time.

I'll never forget my buddy and I screaming MCFUMBLE after he let the ball slip out on a few of his first touches. He proceeded to go in dry on us the rest of the game I'll never forget how much the temperature dropped more and more as our title hopes slipped away
So it was your fault

I could have accepted 1/09/12 if Gene Stallings or Mike Shula had been coaching Bama.
Still LSU won two BCS championships despite the loss against Kentucky and Arkansas. I'll take it !

That was the Pellini Fellini... Bo was good but everywhere he's been he has 2 or 3 games where his defense seems to be non existent... Chief was huge upgrade from Pellini. Hoping that the Steel Curtain Coach O Wild Boyz will be upgrade from Chief !

I said in another thread this was the absolute worst I have ever felt leaving Tiger Stadium. What a long ride back to Bunkie that day.
