I mildly appreciate your optimism. I'll feel similarly come Saturday, because I love LSU football. But it's a bit hard to take you seriously when you roll your eyes at a comment about LSU not being good, and then go on to mention heart and intensity.

Gimme a break.

What are you talking about "just now hitting their stride"? LSU lost to Troy TEN DAYS AGO. It took a missed extra point to beat an overrated/bad Florida team.

I don't think they are either and have said as much.

But nothing drastic.

The head coach and offensive coordinator were at each other's' throats and it was killing the team

Practice wasn't physical

Players weren't watching film

I could go on and on. The talent is there. They just have to prepare better and play with pride and they showed what they could be when they do that. I'm not saying that LSU is going to kill everyone and go to the CFP. All I'm saying is that they can take down Auburn in DV.

Let's not kid ourselves. Florida is hot garbage

My "agenda" is wanting this team to win or compete for a NC. That's not happening with O; that was one of the dumbest hires in recent years. Him & Alleva need to go.

Is this true whether we win or lose? Just curious what the reaction will be if we lose to an Auburn team that is 'not that good'.

Saying they aren't good isn't accurate. Missouri isn't good. Ole Miss isn't good. LSU has talent. They have the coaches. They have the schemes. They just didn't have the culture in place to make it work. I think at this stage of the season LSU could take on most other teams in the nation and come out with a W. That's good enough to be "good" in my book.

Thank you. I don't see what everyone else is seeing. Your post encapsulates my thoughts exactly.

I'm with you my friend. I don't care if they think I'm an idiot for feeling more positive about the team this week than I did last week

I'm glad that you know the future. Can you tell me what the winning lottery numbers are?

Most of the 120+ teams? Impressive. Teams in the top 60 or so? Who knows??

You think LSU is good based on a 1 PT. Win over shite Florida?

Honestly, it's responses like this that keep you from getting taken seriously. Posting blind optimism as some sort of statement of fact doesn't help either.

LSU barely won against Florida in 2014 after getting destroyed by Auburn and Moo State

They then went on to pretty much beat Alabama and choke the game away.

I don't get you guys.

Then don't take me seriously. Downvote the post if you want. Don't reply. It doesn't matter. I just want DV full of tiger fans that still believe in this team and won't boo them at halftime.

Yes, a win is a win in the record books. But I'd feel much better if we beat Florida by two touchdowns and outgained them 2:1.

Yeah, I would too but this isn't Florida A&M, it's just Florida.

And 2 to 1? Seriously? You would be happy if we doubled their production and only won by 14 pts?

I hate to break it to you guys, but we play in the SEC. Sometimes you have to trade body blows all game and grind out a win. It's just the way it goes. This won't change.

Even bama let A&M hang around a bit in their game and they are by far the better team.

If you can't see that this team and program is now drastically different from where it was in September then I don't know what to say
Florida is that bad man. We haven't magically gotten to be world beaters in 10 days. it's going to be a rough game.

Bama was up by 14 at the half and up by 15 until aTm scored with :17 seconds left. aTm played hard but they were never in that game.
