This was on Chris Blair's post Friday.

Does anybody know what the connection is?
Oil industry workers? I know Lafayette added Direct Flights to Denver a few years ago.

Don't know the connection, but as a Colorado Tiger, I'm thrilled to get Chris Blair live via radio. I muted Gary D on Saturday night and was wishing I could have had Chris' voiceover.

All about the $$$

If Sports Properties can get the local affiliate more ad revenue for 3 hours than CSU, CU, or some replay of Cowherd...they’ll do it.

Bonus is the general disdain for CBS of LSU fans

I thought a few years ago Houston had an affiliate, they took it off?
How Denver has one, and Houston doesn't...strange.

I was in Denver a couple of years ago on a work trip and watched a game with LSU Denver group at Stoney's. Had a freaking blast.

This is good stuff. Here's the current listing for football games:

Baton Rouge
Alexandria
Bogalusa
Conway/Little Rock, Ark.
Denver, Colo.
Jackson, Miss.
Jena
Lafayette/Opelousas
Lake Charles
Leesville
Natchez, Miss.
New Orleans
Ruston
Shreveport
Tylertown, Miss.
Vicksburg, Miss.
Ville Platte

Some cities not on the list that you would think perhaps should be based on regional coverage & recruiting efforts:

Louisiana:
Monroe

Alabama:
Mobile

Florida:
Destin

Georgia:
Atlanta

Texas:
Houston
Dallas
Tyler

No affiliate in Houston, but one in Denver. Makes complete sense.
